* Limited edition of 1000 copies. Facsimile edition of Massa Gai Hizayon, a work which was first published in Riva di Trento, to mark the abrogation of the Trento Blood Libel. Jacob Marcaria (d. 1562) was a physician and operator of the Jewish Printing Press in Trento. ‘Benjamin min ha-Anavim was a Roman poet of the 13th century. Written in rhymed prose the author castigates the Jewish magnates of Rome, because of their pursuit of wealth and leasure and the low regard in which they hold learning and virtues.’
